Miracle Fortress' debut album Five Roses has been on steady rotation on my iPod for the last couple weeks.

Miracle Fortress is the solo project of Graham Van Pelt, lead singer and multi-insturmentalist from Montreal's Think About Life. The album is lush with Stereolab-ly synths, Brian Wilson-esque layered choir vocals, and shiny guitars. It's the quintessential summer time album, perfect for listening to during commuting or driving in the country.

Graham is heading out on tour across Canada with the Pop Montreal Pop Off II tour which also includes Montag and art by Jack Dylan. Tour dates are as follows:
