Some quick music news:
- The fork has finally reviewed the Joggers and the new Metric albums. I guess Brooklin Vegan's fork and A&C conspiracy theory can be laid to rest....but wait...Metric aren't on A&C...let the conspiracy continue!!! Ps. Check out the Joggers album, it made me RUN to the HMV near work and gobble it up at a ridiculous price (damn business district!!).
- LCD Soundsystem's Toronto show on November 18th has been moved from The Carlu to the Kool Haus. Tickets are on sale now. Note the late start time (10pm).
- Karen O from the YYY's talks to BANG! about their new album stated for an early 2006 release.
- Ukula's throwing a mini festival titledd Bright Lights Festival at the Distillery District on Novemeber 5th. It will feature sets by Elbow(only Canadian date in 2005), The Duke Spirit, Islands (featuring two members of the defunkt Unicorns), The Call Up (featuring members of The Stills and The Dears) amongst others. Tickets are only $25, get them here or here.
- Central Village has attended two Wolf Parade shows in the last couple days. Check out the reviews here. He also has a rare track (Disco Sheets) posted for your listening pleasure. Check Brooklyn Vegan's pictures from last nights show in Brooklyn.
